Welcome to
Fraunhofer's Integrated Publication and Information Systems Institute IPSI in Darmstadt

In October 2006 the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft decided to close the Integrated Publication and Information Systems Institute IPSI in Darmstadt. At the same time a strategic concept was implemented to transfer all promising research topics to other Fraunhofer Institutes. All projects will be continued and integrated into different institutions. Fraunhofer is guaranteeing by transferring the topics, the work groups and the projects that work on all of IPSI's current projects and contracts will continue without any delays. IPSI's customers and partners both from the public and the private sector can thus remain assured that they will continue to receive in the future the same reliability and competence as they have experienced and grown to expect from IPSI in the past.

As of November 2006 the actual closing down of IPSI and the re-organization of the research activities have begun. Please use the contact data given under "Research Fields and Contacts" for information which topics, projects, work groups and employees you will find at what institute/organization in the future.
