Jörg Geißler
|
Jörg is a computer scientist and he is involved in several internal projects of AMBIENTE,
such as i-LAND,
the KOR consortium "Cooperative Spaces - Workspaces of the Future" and last but not least the
pengui|n activity, which is part of his dissertation.
He is especially interested in the research areas of pen computing, ubiquitous computing, augmented reality, and hypermedia.
Before he joined AMBIENTE in April 1997, Jörg was working for three years in the OCEAN department -
which is now called
CONCERT division. During his time at OCEAN, he was leading Fraunhofer IPSI's part of
the projects
Virtual Meetings
and its industry-funded counterpart
MUMEKO. Furthermore, he was
involved in the design of user interfaces for the
DOLPHIN system as well as for the
POLIWORK project.
